We have just released an important feature that helps achieve a consistent and rapid approach to grading coding assignments.
Along with our many other teacher support features, grading rubrics are aimed at streamlining teacher and lecturer workflows.
The Grading Rubric is a two dimensional grid that
- provides guidelines on how to grade an assignment
- allows each row to evaluate a certain criterion
- allows you to specify a scoring weight for each individual criterion
- appears during the final grading process and can be clicked on, automatically calculating the student grade according to row weights and columns scores
You can add as many grading rubrics as you like, store them centrally and then apply them to one or more teaching units.
